World Nature Conservation Day 2023: Know more about its history, theme and importance
Preserving our natural resources and environment is of utmost importance for the sustenance of life on Earth. Our planet’s ecosystems provide us with essential resources such as clean air, water, food and medicine, while also regulating the climate and supporting biodiversity. By safeguarding these precious resources and maintaining ecological balance, we ensure a healthier and more prosperous future for ourselves and generations to come.
To highlight the same, World Nature Conservation Day is observed on July 28 each year. It is a day dedicated to raising awareness about the importance of preserving and conserving natural resources and the environment. The day serves as a reminder of the need to protect and sustainably manage the Earth’s ecosystems and biodiversity for the well-being of current and future generations.
