The Annual Library Activity Plan (ALAP) of KV Dappar for the academic session 2024–25 is a comprehensive roadmap that blends reading promotion, literary engagement, digital awareness, and national observances into a vibrant year-long calendar.

• Reading Month (June–July):
  Launch of INFOBREAK, Reading Week activities, Book Title Poetry, and Reading Day Quizzes to foster a love for books.

• Reader’s Club & Functional Rollouts:
  Reader’s Club inauguration, class library book issues, library orientation for new students, and circulation services start early in the session.

• Special Literary Celebrations:
  Events like Harry Potter’s Birthday, National Library Week, and International School Library Month bring excitement through exhibitions, creative competitions, and themed quizzes.

• Patriotic & Social Observances:
  Book displays and activities held on Independence Day, Republic Day, Gandhi Jayanti, Hiroshima Day, and Martyrs’ Day build awareness and national pride through literary exploration.

• Literacy and Language Events:
  Celebrations like Hindi Fortnight, International Literacy Day, and Children’s Day include essay writing, storytelling, and Hindi book exhibitions.

• Digital and Career Skills Focus:
  Cyber safety workshops on Safer Internet Day, blog surfing activities, and year-round career guidance help students navigate both digital and real-world futures.

• Engaging Students All Year:
  Regular Reader of the Month awards, Face-a-Book Summer Challenge, Read My Buddy peer reading, and class library programs keep students connected to reading throughout the year.

• Library Development & Operations:
  Includes quarterly updates, book fairs, circulation, data management, stock verification, and library bulletin publication to maintain a high-functioning and dynamic library environment.
