It's time to find right career

The “It’s Time to Find the Right Career” activity is a meaningful initiative designed to guide students toward making informed and confident career choices. Organized in the school library, this activity introduces students to a wide range of career options through well-designed career cards, posters, and informational resources. The librarian encourages students to explore their interests, strengths, and goals while learning about various professional fields such as engineering, medicine, defense, design, agriculture, arts, management, and emerging career paths in technology.

During the session, students are encouraged to ask questions, discuss their aspirations, and seek clarity about different study streams and opportunities available after Class 10 and Class 12. The activity helps them understand the qualifications, skills, and personal qualities required for different careers. By providing this valuable knowledge at an early stage, the library plays a crucial role in helping students make thoughtful academic decisions.

This career-building initiative not only broadens students’ awareness but also motivates them to dream big and plan wisely for their future. It reflects the library’s commitment to holistic development and lifelong learning, making it a supportive space where young learners can shape their ambitions with confidence and clarity.

Reading promotion week activity

The Reading Promotion Week is a vibrant and inspiring initiative designed to cultivate strong reading habits and a lifelong love for books among students of all classes. Celebrated from 1st to 7th July, this week transforms the school library into an active learning hub filled with creative and engaging activities. Students participate in story writing, book-title poetry, reading quizzes, loud-reading sessions, and character-based storytelling. These thoughtfully planned tasks encourage learners to explore different genres, think imaginatively, and express themselves with confidence.

The activity aims not only to promote reading but also to nurture important skills such as vocabulary building, comprehension, critical thinking, and creativity. Students are encouraged to pick books of their choice, discuss their favourite stories, and share their experiences with peers. This creates a lively culture of reading and collaborative learning across the school.

Throughout the week, enthusiastic readers are identified and appreciated, motivating others to participate actively. The library atmosphere becomes joyful, interactive, and inclusive, helping even reluctant readers develop interest.

Overall, Reading Promotion Week serves as a powerful reminder that reading is not just an academic requirement but a doorway to imagination, knowledge, and personal growth. It reinforces the library’s role as a dynamic centre for inspiration and lifelong learning.
