Meditation before reading

 





The “Meditation Before Reading” activity was organized in the school library to help students begin their reading sessions with calm and focus. Before picking up their books, students practiced a brief guided meditation involving deep breathing and quiet reflection. This short mindfulness exercise helped them clear distractions, relax their minds, and prepare for better concentration. As a result, students were able to read with greater attention, understanding, and interest. The activity also promoted emotional well-being, reduced stress, and created a peaceful learning atmosphere in the library. Overall, it encouraged students to connect mindfulness with reading for a more meaningful experience.
