The Old Box
When I was a child, I lived in a small village. Near my house, there was an old empty room. Everyone said it was a strange place. One day, my friends and I decided to go inside. We were a little scared, but also very curious.
Inside the room, we saw a big old box in the corner. It made a small noise. My heart started beating fast. We thought something was hiding inside. Slowly, I opened the box.
Suddenly—meow!
A small cat jumped out and ran away. We were shocked for a second, and then we all started laughing loudly. Our fear turned into fun, and we laughed until our stomachs hurt.
Inside the box, we found old toys and books. We cleaned them and shared them with other children in the village. Everyone was happy.
That day, I learned something important.
Moral:
Fear often comes from imagination. When we face it, we may find joy instead.
